Excellent picture, bright colors and very easy to find puzzles. Date published: The hidden object scenes are fun and so are the home decorator tasks. Hope there are more games like this in the making. Soothing music, mostly hog, relaxing, lots of enjoyment, puts a smile on your face! I will play these games over and over again! Two different houses, two different styles and lots of variations of the Story Lines. Great HOG scenes, good Minigames. Just a fun, lighthearted HOG all the way around. Play timed, or Play Relaxed. I have to keep playing it or I'll go insane!!!!!!!!!!!!!

If that sounds like something that you'd enjoy then Home Design: Caribbean Life is definitely worth a look - even if it's just a momentary glance. The game's UI is incredibly intuitive and everything looks fantastic. The wide range of furniture and customization options allows for some incredible designs that would make even the odd millionaire a little envious.

The beautiful scenery only adds to the game's fantastic visuals which are incredibly impressive for a mobile game. The Harvest Moon series has always excelled when it comes to its customization options.

Story of Seasons: Friends of Mineral Town is no different in this regard. The recent Switch remake looks fantastic and allows players to not only decorate their homes, but also the areas surrounding them. If you're a fan of Animal Crossing then you'll love Friends of Mineral Town and may actually find that you prefer it thanks to the game's tighter structure and well fleshed out characters. Sadly, there aren't quite as many items of furniture available nor does the game receive seasonal updates like the AC titles but it's a great game nonetheless.

Staxel looks and plays like the love-child of Minecraft and Stardew Valley and although it doesn't quite measure up to either of the aforementioned titles, there's still a lot to love here. The vibrant color palette found throughout the game makes for some stunning visuals and there are plenty of craftable items with which homes can be built and decorated.

Some might be put off by the title's complete lack of narrative, but those looking for a game that allows them to unleash their creativity without the distractions that go hand in hand with traditional story modes should have a lot of fun with Staxel. It's a game that's easy to get lost in and one that will help you to find plenty of inspiration thanks to its simplicity. Things might still be a little rough around the edges, but the base-building elements of Ark: Survival Evolved have come a long way since the game first launched.

Perhaps what makes base-building so enjoyable in the game is that your creations need to be functional rather than just aesthetically pleasing.
