Free limewire for vista

The graphics are terrible and the font is very very small February 17th, March 2nd, I jsut got a new computer yesterday and DL limewire just fine. Problem is that when I open limewire, it states that it's waiting for a connection and that I may be behind a firewall.

Fine, I've tried to clear that issue up in McAfee by having it recognize the port and make an exception for limewire. Also - it kills my internet connection when it's open so that I can't surf the web.

Any clues how to fix this? Thanks chepartner. I'll give 'er a try tonight when I get home. Hoefully this will resolve the issue.

Does this mean though, that I won't have a firewall? Are there any security concerns there? You can use the Vista Firewall. I have not looked to see if Zone Alarm has a Vista compatible firewall or not. But if they do they have a very good product and it is free.
